Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise networks, servers, and cybersecurity systems during night shift hours
- Provide remote technical support to internal staff via ticketing systems and chat platforms
- Perform system backups, security patching, and vulnerability assessments
- Document incident reports, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless IT operations
- Assist with hardware installations, software deployments, and troubleshooting
- Participate in cross-departmental IT projects and innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity program
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Experience with helpdesk software (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Must be available for 3-4 nights per week (minimum 20 hours)
