Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to users during night shifts via phone, email, and remote access
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/macOS systems and enterprise applications
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and escalate critical issues
- Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions in knowledge base systems
- Assist with hardware maintenance including server rack installations and peripheral setups
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and migration projects
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related degree program
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Proficiency with Windows/macOS operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
- Available for 20-30 hours per week during summer/fall semester
- Valid driver's license for occasional hardware transport
