Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network systems during overnight hours, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents using ticketing systems and remote diagnostics
- Assist with system backups, patch management, and security protocol enforcement
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Participate in simulated cybersecurity drills and threat analysis exercises
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing IT, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science degree
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work 4-5 nights per week (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for night shifts
