Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for hardware/software issues during night shift hours
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including servers and cloud systems
- Document IT incidents and resolutions using ServiceNow ticketing system
- Assist with cybersecurity monitoring and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system updates and deployments
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and after-hours maintenance
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and configuration management records
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing IT/Computer Science degree
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills with customer service aptitude
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and remote desktop tools
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred (not required)
- Must have reliable transportation to downtown Chicago location
- Available to work 3-4 nights per week (20-28 hours total)
