Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and remote access during night hours.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues to ensure 24/7 system availability.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software assets.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and incident reports in the IT knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve escalated tickets and implement preventative measures.
- Conduct routine hardware inspections and perform basic system backups.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must be available to start between Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 for a minimum 12-week duration.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and the willingness to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
