Responsibilities
- Monitor server and network performance to ensure 99.9% uptime during night operations.
- Perform routine system backups and security patches for the night shift team.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues reported by remote and on-site employees.
- Assist in documenting technical procedures and maintaining IT asset inventories.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve basic technical queries efficiently.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handovers and project completion.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong interest in IT support, networking, or systems administration.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, or macOS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a night shift environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
