Responsibilities
- Support night-time system monitoring and incident response for cloud-based applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature development and debugging
- Document technical processes and create operational runbooks
- Assist in automating deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups (night shift alignment)
- Conduct performance testing and optimization for web applications
- Shadow senior engineers during critical system updates
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Availability to work 3-4 night shifts per week (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or Java programming languages
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
