In this role, you will be the first line of defense for our internal systems and end-users. You will troubleshoot technical issues, manage network requests, and ensure our critical infrastructure remains stable 24/7. Responsibilities
- Monitor system alerts and troubleshoot hardware and software issues during night operations.
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via chat and email.
- Perform routine backups, updates, and security patching on servers and workstations.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira).
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to escalate complex issues and ensure continuity.
- Assist in the deployment of new software and hardware configurations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (graduating Summer or Fall 2024).
- Available to work a consistent Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic operating systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Excellent written communication skills (English fluency required).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
