Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) dashboards for suspicious activity
- Assist in analyzing network traffic logs to identify potential threats
- Document security incidents following established protocols
- Participate in tabletop exercises simulating cyber attack scenarios
- Collaborate with SOC analysts during real-time incident response
- Contribute to vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of network security concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Linux/Windows command-line interfaces
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Must be available for consistent night shift scheduling
