Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using Python, SQL, and visualization tools to identify business trends
- Develop machine learning models for predictive analytics and data-driven decision making
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data solutions into production systems
- Document methodologies and present findings to senior leadership
- Participate in Agile sprint planning and code reviews
- Research emerging AI/ML techniques and propose implementation opportunities
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation
- Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data warehousing concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available for 20-40 hours/week through December 2023
