Responsibilities
- Software Development: Assist the engineering team in designing, coding, and testing software applications using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Code Maintenance: Review existing code, identify bugs, and implement fixes to ensure high software quality and stability.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Database Management: Support database administration tasks, including writing SQL queries and maintaining data integrity.
- Technical Documentation: Create clear, concise documentation for new features and existing systems to facilitate team knowledge sharing.
- User Testing: Collaborate with QA to test new features and provide feedback on user experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Academic Status: Must be eligible to receive college credit for internship work (minimum GPA requirements may apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
- Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
