Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for employees and clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Deploy and configure hardware/software systems including Windows 10/11, Office 365, and cloud platforms
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Document technical processes and create user documentation
- Collaborate on cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments
- Assist with server maintenance and Active Directory management
- Participate in cross-functional IT projects with agile teams
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing IT, Computer Science, or related degree
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours weekly during academic semesters
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) preferred
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification is a plus
- Must be eligible for college credit through your institution
