Responsibilities
- SEO Execution: Assist in executing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings for key client campaigns.
- Content Creation: Write and edit high-quality blog posts, meta descriptions, and landing page copy tailored to target audiences in the DC area and beyond.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor website traffic using tools like Google Analytics and prepare weekly performance reports for the marketing team.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix technical SEO issues, such as site speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to uncover new opportunities and optimize content strategy.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor strategies to identify market trends and gaps in our own offerings.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Basic understanding of SEO principles, HTML/CSS, or digital marketing concepts.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Availability: Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2024 and commit to at least 12 weeks.
- Location: Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (or be willing to commute).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
