Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining hardware/software systems
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via ticketing system and direct channels
- Document IT processes, procedures, and infrastructure documentation
- Collaborate with team on network security monitoring and vulnerability assessments
- Participate in software testing cycles and report bugs effectively
- Contribute to data backup and recovery initiatives
- Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions
- Attend weekly training sessions and cross-departmental meetings
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing IT, Computer Science, or related degree
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during academic terms
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site work
