Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing cybersecurity protocols for enterprise systems
- Monitor network security logs and analyze potential threats using SIEM tools
- Collaborate with senior engineers on vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and create incident response reports
- Research emerging cyber threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support the implementation of zero-trust architecture frameworks
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and agile sprints
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
