Responsibilities
- Develop and execute hyper-local social media campaigns targeting Detroit neighborhoods
- Analyze consumer behavior data to optimize marketing strategies for small businesses
- Coordinate community outreach events across metro Detroit
- Create compelling content highlighting Detroit's cultural and economic assets
- Track KPIs using Google Analytics and HubSpot platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrated marketing initiatives
- Present performance insights to leadership bi-weekly
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Available for 15-20 hours/week (flexible around class schedule)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Canva
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for Detroit's revitalization and local business ecosystem
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team settings
- Must receive college credit approval from your institution
