We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paid Night Shift Data Operations Intern to join our dynamic team in New York City. In this role, you will support our 24/7 global monitoring infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure data integrity and system reliability during critical off-peak hours. We offer a competitive hourly rate, flexible scheduling, and direct mentorship from industry experts.

Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time data feeds and alert systems for anomalies, errors, or performance degradation during the night shift.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of data pipeline incidents and database errors.
- Perform routine data quality checks, validation tasks, and cleanup operations.
- Document technical processes and create runbooks for recurring night-time operations.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to transfer knowledge and resolve complex issues escalated from the night shift.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align on project goals.
- Conduct research on emerging data tools and methodologies to improve team workflows.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong interest in backend systems, database management, and data operations.
- Basic understanding of SQL or database concepts is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment.
