Responsibilities
- Monitor System Performance: Track server health and network traffic during off-peak hours to ensure optimal uptime and stability.
- Ticket Resolution: Assist the support team by triaging and resolving incoming technical support tickets efficiently.
- Software Updates: Perform routine installations, patches, and software updates for internal systems and applications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of nightly maintenance activities and technical issues for audit purposes.
- Security Checks: Assist in routine security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect company data.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team to hand over critical issues and ensure continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic Linux commands.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Schedule: Ability to work 3-4 nights per week (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
