Responsibilities
- Monitor Systems: Continuously monitor server logs, databases, and application performance to identify anomalies or downtime during off-peak hours.
- Technical Support: Assist the night support team in troubleshooting customer issues and resolving technical tickets efficiently.
- Data Analysis: Review and analyze nightly data backups and logs to ensure data integrity and security compliance.
- Code Maintenance: Participate in code reviews and assist in fixing minor bugs or updating documentation for internal tools.
- Collaboration: Communicate with the day shift team to hand off critical issues and ensure seamless workflow transitions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or 12 AM - 8 AM).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and efficiently.
