Role Overview:
As the Night Shift Intern, you will be the first line of defense for our technical infrastructure. You will monitor systems, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure business continuity for our clients during the overnight hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and network traffic to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 technical support tickets received during the night shift.
- Perform routine system backups, updates, and maintenance tasks to prevent downtime.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in our internal knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand off unresolved issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in the deployment of new software patches and hardware configurations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems is required.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a quiet environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
