Responsibilities
- Conduct legislative research and analysis for federal policy initiatives
- Assist in drafting policy briefs and stakeholder communicationsOrganize and support congressional hearing preparations
- Monitor and summarize relevant committee hearings and markups
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with government affairs teams
- Attend industry conferences and networking events
- Maintain digital records of policy developments using CRM systems
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (transcripts required)
- Strong research and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week during academic semesters
- Interest in federal legislative process and advocacy
- Must be eligible for college credit through your institution
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
