We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paid SEO Intern to join our dynamic team. While our headquarters is in the heart of New York, we are hiring for roles available in New York, NY, and Florida.
You will work closely with our senior SEO specialists to drive organic growth and improve search engine rankings for our diverse client portfolio. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to balance on-site collaboration in NYC with the flexibility of working from Florida.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Assist in the creation and optimization of on-page SEO elements.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly blog posts and landing pages.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic SEO concepts and search engine principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Passion for digital media and a desire to learn new skills quickly.
Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner.
- Assist in on-page optimization including title tags, meta descriptions, and heading structures.
- Analyze website traffic data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Write and edit content to ensure SEO best practices are met.
- Support link-building efforts and outreach campaigns.
- Report weekly on progress and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program (Marketing, Communications, etc.).
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
