Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value search opportunities in the local San Jose market.
- Collaborate with the content team to optimize web pages, blog posts, and landing pages for search engines.
- Assist with on-page SEO audits, ensuring technical compliance and improving site speed and usability.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console, generating weekly reports on traffic and rankings.
- Support link-building campaigns by identifying outreach targets and managing contact lists.
- Stay updated on the latest Google algorithm updates and industry trends to implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (rising Junior, Senior, or recent graduate).
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Google Analytics is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Must be available to work in-office in San Jose, CA.
