Responsibilities
- Develop and test microservices using Java/Python in a cloud-native environment
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline optimization using AWS and Docker
- Contribute to API design and implementation for enterprise applications
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive test cases
- Debug and resolve production issues under mentor guidance
- Present project progress to stakeholders during bi-weekly reviews
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java/Python preferred)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and database fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Available 20+ hours per week through December 2023
