Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python
- Build responsive web interfaces with React and TypeScript
- Implement automated testing frameworks (Jest/Cypress)
- Collaborate on agile sprints using Jira and Confluence
- Optimize database queries and troubleshoot production issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation
- Present project progress to engineering leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree
- Proficiency in JavaScript/Python and Git
- Understanding of web development fundamentals
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week during semester
- Available for on-site work in Oakland 3 days/week
- Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating technical projects
