Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Python and Go in AWS cloud environment
- Write clean, efficient code with unit tests and documentation following industry best practices
- Participate in agile development cycles including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Debug and resolve production issues using monitoring tools like Datadog and Prometheus
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive front-end components
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing sessions
- Present project outcomes to engineering leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python/Java/JavaScript/C++)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Authorized to work in the US and available for 20-40 hours/week
- Must be eligible for academic credit through your institution
