Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize microservices using Java/Python in AWS cloud environment
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and conduct automated testing with Jenkins/Selenium
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on API design and system architecture
- Debug and resolve production issues using monitoring tools like Datadog
- Contribute to 2-3 sprint cycles delivering production-ready features
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Present project outcomes to senior leadership during quarterly showcases
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript with understanding of OOP principles
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and version control (Git)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Demonstrated problem-solving through personal projects, hackathons, or academic work
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available for 20+ hours/week through December 2023
