Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Assist in the design, coding, and testing of web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies.
- Debugging & Maintenance: Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues in existing codebases.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning meetings with the engineering team.
- Documentation: Write clear and concise technical documentation and update project specifications.
- Research: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to propose improvements to our tech stack.
- User Testing: Collaborate with the QA team to ensure software meets user requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or C++) and experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and RESTful APIs.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week during the semester.
