Responsibilities
- Develop and test full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and AWS
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable solutions
- Participate in agile sprints, code reviews, and daily stand-ups
- Debug and optimize existing code for performance and security
- Document technical specifications and contribute to team wikis
- Present project progress and technical findings to stakeholders
- Experiment with emerging technologies like AI integration and cloud-native systems
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, or related program
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Python/Java)
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and relational databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic coding projects
- Authorization to work in the US (no sponsorship required)
- Availability for 20-40 hours/week through summer 2024
