Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to identify local search opportunities.
- Assist in on-page optimization, including meta tags, alt text, and content structure.
- Monitor website traffic and performance metrics using Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual elements align with SEO best practices.
- Write and edit high-quality blog posts and landing page copy tailored to the target audience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic SEO principles and search engine mechanics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be available to work 20-25 hours per week during the summer months.
