Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Assist in creating and scheduling content for our weekend social media campaigns to engage our local audience.
- Content Creation: Draft blog posts, press releases, and marketing copy under the guidance of the content team.
- Market Research: Conduct research on local competitors and industry trends in the Virginia area to provide actionable insights.
- Data Entry & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and analyze engagement metrics for weekend events.
- Event Support: Help coordinate and manage logistics for weekend promotional events and community outreach programs.
- Administrative Support: Manage inbox inquiries and assist with general office operations during shift hours.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the summer internship.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Interest: Passionate about digital marketing, SEO, and social media trends.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to commute to the Arlington, Virginia area.
