Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Assist in on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headings, and content strategy.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console to report on key metrics.
- Support the content marketing team in drafting blog posts and landing page copy.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and fix site issues.
- Collaborate with the social media team to align content strategies across platforms.
- Assist in managing local SEO campaigns to improve visibility in Kansas City and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic SEO concepts and search engine algorithms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs is a plus but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning new digital marketing trends and technologies.
