Responsibilities
- Assist Developers: Collaborate with the software development team to design, code, and test software applications and web solutions.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices, performance optimization, and code quality.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and API documentation.
- Testing: Assist in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to identify and resolve software issues.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to suggest improvements.
- Meetings: Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions to align with project goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- GPA: Minimum 3.0 GPA required (or equivalent academic standing).
- Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript is highly preferred.
- Tools: Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and database concepts (SQL).
- Availability: Must be able to commit to 20-25 hours per week for the duration of the internship (minimum 6 months).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
