Responsibilities
- Assist the IT department with daily system maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for employees.
- Support the software development team in coding, testing, and debugging web and mobile applications.
- Monitor network performance, analyze system logs, and report technical issues to senior staff.
- Participate in the deployment of new software updates, patches, and hardware installations.
- Document technical processes, create user guides, and maintain accurate project logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency and user experience.
- Attend weekly team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# and web development basics.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network infrastructure concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Must be able to commit to 20-30 hours per week during the semester and available for occasional evening/weekend tasks.
