Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software applications and web platforms.
- Participate in agile development ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing systems under the guidance of senior staff.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry best practices to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript) and one database system (SQL, MongoDB).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability to start in Summer or Fall 2024 for a minimum of 12 weeks.
