Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and AWS
- Analyze large datasets using Python and SQL to inform policy recommendations
- Participate in agile sprints with daily standups and sprint reviews
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive API documentation
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Contribute to open-source civic tech initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (D3.js/Tableau)
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for federal projects
