Responsibilities
- SEO Execution: Assist in the on-page optimization of client websites, focusing on keyword research and meta-tag improvements.
- Social Media Management: Curate and schedule engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram, monitoring engagement metrics.
- Content Creation: Draft blog posts and press releases under the guidance of senior content writers.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track weekly performance data using Google Analytics 4 and prepare simple weekly reports.
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for local SF businesses.
- Event Support: Assist with weekend digital marketing activations and local community events.
- Email Marketing: Support the management of newsletter campaigns and subscriber list segmentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Summer or Fall 2024 start).
- Availability: Must be available to work 10-15 hours per weekend (Saturday/Sunday).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or Google Analytics is a plus.
- Writing Ability: Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar and editing skills.
- Tools: Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to our office in downtown San Francisco.
