Responsibilities
- Local SEO Management: Assist in optimizing local business listings, updating citations, and monitoring local search rankings.
- Social Media Content: Create and schedule engaging posts for Instagram and Facebook during weekend shifts to boost community engagement.
- Website Support: Help maintain the company blog and update website content to ensure accuracy and SEO relevance.
- Event Coordination: Support the logistics and on-site execution of weekend marketing events and community outreach programs.
- Data Analysis: Track engagement metrics and compile weekly reports on social media performance and website traffic.
- Customer Engagement: Assist the customer service team with inquiries and ensure a positive experience for weekend visitors.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or associate's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the internship.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and social media platforms is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Reliable transportation to the Long Beach office.
