Responsibilities
- Develop and execute hyper-local social media campaigns for neighborhood businesses
- Coordinate weekend pop-up marketing events in Detroit's key commercial districts
- Analyze neighborhood consumer behavior data to refine targeting strategies
- Create engaging content highlighting local business stories and community events
- Manage influencer partnerships with Detroit-based micro-influencers
- Track campaign ROI using local analytics tools and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related program
- Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
- Strong written communication skills with attention to local vernacular
- Available Saturdays and/or Sundays (8-16 hours/week)
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Google Analytics, or similar tools
- Passion for Detroit's local business community
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license preferred (field visits required)
