Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
- Assist in on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, alt text, and header structure.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console to track traffic and rankings.
- Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly blog posts and landing pages.
- Perform basic technical audits to ensure website speed and mobile-friendliness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated with a genuine interest in search engine optimization.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week, preferably on-site in Kansas City.
