Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate on data analysis pipelines using SQL and pandas
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings
- Write clean, testable code following CI/CD best practices
- Contribute to technical documentation and API specifications
- Present project progress and solutions to engineering leadership
- Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with SQL and database fundamentals
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience with Git version control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Availability for 20-25 hours/week during summer/fall semester
- Authorized to work in the United States
