Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legislative research and analysis on federal policy issues
- Monitor congressional hearings, markups, and floor proceedings
- Prepare concise policy briefs and memo summaries for senior staff
- Assist in organizing stakeholder briefings and coalition meetings
- Support digital advocacy campaigns and social media content creation
- Track bill developments and regulatory changes using specialized databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on policy initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or related field
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Interest in U.S. government and legislative processes
