As a key leader on our engineering team, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering, designing systems that will solve problems currently deemed unsolvable. This role offers a unique blend of high-level strategy and hands-on development.
Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and oversee the development of scalable quantum computing architectures and hybrid quantum-classical systems.
- Algorithm Development: Create and optimize quantum algorithms for complex optimization, machine learning, and cryptography tasks.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a team of quantum researchers and engineers in experimental testing and validation of new hardware interfaces.
- Integration: Integrate quantum solutions into existing cloud infrastructure and enterprise environments.
- Mentorship: Guide junior talent and define technical best practices for the quantum engineering team.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years specifically in quantum computing or advanced AI research.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, Rust, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Pennylane).
- Cloud Mastery: Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, specifically regarding quantum cloud services.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex theoretical problems and translate them into functional code.
