Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures compatible with classical AI stacks
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum neural networks
- Create hybrid algorithms leveraging quantum advantage for machine learning tasks
- Lead quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography implementation
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit
- Secure $5M+ in quantum innovation grants with federal agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction (surface codes, LDPC)
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
- Active contributor to quantum open-source projects
- TS/SCI clearance preferred
