Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead research in quantum neural networks and quantum-enhanced deep learning
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum AI systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in leading journals and conferences
- Secure federal and private research funding for quantum AI initiatives
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum programming languages
- Proven track record developing AI models for complex optimization problems
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or top-tier conferences (QIP, NeurIPS)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
