Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical computing systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum neural networks
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
- Present findings at global tech conferences (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Strong Python/C++ skills with high-performance computing experience
- Experience with tensor networks and quantum simulation tools
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
