Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms leveraging Q# and TensorFlow Quantum
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Optimize quantum circuit architectures for practical deployment on 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors for AI workloads
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for quantum-AI research initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
- Expertise in variational quantum algorithms and quantum neural networks
- Strong Python/C++ skills with high-performance computing experience
