Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop quantum algorithms solving optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum accelerators with classical HPC systems
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography implementations
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction codes
- Author technical whitepapers on quantum advantage in machine learning applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing systems with 20+ qubit coherence
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
