Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and coherence
- Develop quantum algorithms for complex optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with physicists and engineers to prototype quantum hardware interfaces
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum solutions for enterprise clients
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Strong background in complex algorithm design and optimization
- Knowledge of quantum security protocols and post-quantum cryptography
- Track record of leading technical teams in R&D environments
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
