What You'll Achieve:
Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures compatible with NISQ-era hardware while preparing for fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC) deployment by 2026. Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to prototype quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum supremacy applications
- Lead quantum algorithm integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor connectivity
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography migration
- Drive quantum machine learning model implementations
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover's)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems
- Strong background in distributed computing architectures
